April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month

The U.S. Dept. of Health & Human Services is promoting a new publication, “Preventing Child Maltreatment and Promoting Well-Being: A Network for Action 2013 Resource Guide.”  It is free to download from their website.


Did you know that San Diego County has a child welfare services hotline?  The 24- hour hotline is (858) 560-2191 or (800) 344-6000, and puts callers  through to trained social workers responding to molestation and neglect.
