Help us celebrate National Library Week April 9 through April 15. The theme this year is Libraries Transform. How has the Law Library transformed your life? Share your stories on Facebook and Twitter.
Today, April 11, is National Library Workers Day, a day to recognize the valuable contributions made by all library workers.
Thursday, April 13, is Take Action for Libraries Day, a day of national library advocacy. The focus this year is to protect funding for the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS). The IMLS serves as a vital funding resource for libraries and museums in every state. IMLS funding helps support literacy programs for youth, small business service centers, services for veterans, and technological resources.
National Library Week started in 1958. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use and support.
