We need you to cast your vote for our 2017 Book of the Year. The winner will be announced as part of the festivities at our 2017 Open House.

YOU get to choose which book we add to the collection. You can cast your vote now or at the Open House. If you cast your vote at the Open House, you may win a copy of the winning book! This year’s candidates are:

  • Fiction: The Last Days of Night by Graham Moore
  • Non-Fiction: Evicted: Poverty and Profit in the American City by Matthew Desmond
  • Biography: Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption by Bryan Stevenson

The Book of the Year announcement is just a small part of the activities at our 6th annual Open House, December 7, 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Take a picture with the Bookmas Tree, get a caricature, or make a small donation and receive a hand-made glass heart ornament.

This year’s theme is Where is the Love? At the Law Library! As the heart of the legal community, the Law Library opens its doors to friends and supporters each year to come together for live entertainment, tasty food, and to catch up with friends.
