Book Circulation Returns with Pick-Up SDLL
While the Law Library’s physical locations are still closed, we have resumed circulation! We know that many of you rely on the library’s resources for your legal research needs, and we want to get you the information to help you with your legal issues.
To check out materials, just follow these easy steps:
- Have a current Borrower account. You can check it’s status by logging in here using your library card number and password. If you have forgotten your library card or password, just contact us and we can get it for you. If your account has expired, you can renew it online through on online renewal portal.
- Request materials by contacting a librarian. You can email us, make an appointment using our appointment system, or call leave a message on our voicemail at 619-531-3900 by 2:00 pm on Tuesday. Please make sure you state the title(s) of the book(s) you want, the law library location where you would like to pick up your materials, your name, and your contact information. Currently, we are unable to transfer books between locations so the item must be at your preferred location.
- Receive verification of your check-out. We will contact you by 4:00 pm on Tuesday to confirm that the materials you want are available.
- Pick up your materials. We will have your books ready to go for you at your chosen location of the Law Library on Wednesday between 10 am and 12 pm. Just come to the front door and knock and we will bring your materials to you! But, please be prompt, we are not in the building after 12 pm.
