Important 2018 Election and Ballot Dropoff Information
Tuesday, October 30, is the last day for voters registered in San Diego County to request a mail ballot for the upcoming November 6 General Election. Click here for information on requesting a mail ballot and instructions for voting by mail.
Beginning Monday, October 29, mail ballot voters can drop off their ballots at conveniently located designated mail ballot drop-off locations. Check out this list of designated drop-off locations from the San Diego Registrar of Voters.
San Diego County registered voters also can cast their ballot vote at the County Registrar of Voters office, located at 5600 Overland Ave. on the County Operations Center campus in Kearny Mesa. Early voting is available Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Election Day, you can drop off ballots until the polls close at 8 p.m. Also, the office will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, November 3 and Sunday, November 4, for weekend voting.
