Join us for the Witkin Awards Dinner on Wednesday, October 21st. The Bernard E. Witkin Awards are presented annually to honor members of the San Diego legal community for civic leadership and excellence in the practice of the law, adjudication of the law, legal education, and the advancement of access to justice.

The San Diego Law Library is partnering with The Veterans Art Project to host an exhibition exploring the ideas and values that shape our communities through visual art. The deadline to apply to have your art featured is: OCTOBER 5, 2026. The exhibition will be featured at the San Diego Law Library from: November 2 - December 30, 2026.

We have several legal databases available at our Partnership Public Library Locations. These databases are accessible during their normal business hours, including any night and weekend hours.

The San Diego Law Library is participating in the Westlaw Patron Access Remote Pilot program with Thomson Reuters to allow library pro se patrons (self-represented litigants and non-attorneys) remote access to Westlaw, a premier legal research database.
