New Beginnings! New Partnerships! New Locations!

We are excited to announce the start of a new era for our El Cajon and Chula Vista branches.

East County / El Cajon

Law Library services are transferring to the El Cajon Branch of the San Diego County Library and will begin early in the new year 2016.   Three legal databases, Lexis Advance, Hein Online and CEB OnLaw, will be available on dedicated computers during the partner library’s regular business hours.  A Law Librarian will be available to assist with legal reference the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month.  No print materials will be transferring.  Look for information on our website and at the El Cajon Branch of the San Diego County Library. If you need legal reference assistance in the meantime, please come by our downtown or Vista branches during the week, call us (619-531-3900) or visit our website, email, or chat services. Sign up for our enews to get the most up to date information on these exciting new changes. Find out more information on the branch changes and why it is necessary.

Currently, we are partnering with the Legal Aid Society of San Diego, who will use this location to provide clinics for those in need of legal assistance. The schedule will be posted on our respective websites. Also, this location will be the future home of our legal research archive. Stay tuned to our website and newsletter for more information about other potential partnerships.

The El Cajon Law Library branch will stop regular library services on November 25.  Why are the branches changing?
