About the class:

2017 is our Year of Border Law. We will be hosting several classes over the year. Our first covers the Nuts and Bolts of Naturalization. The class covers the basics of citizenship and naturalization.  It reviews the differences between citizenship and naturalization, naturalization eligibility requirements, the application process, and how to avoid some common – and not so common – errors in filing for naturalization.

About the speaker:

Miko Tokuhama-Olsen has been practicing exclusively immigration law at Legal Aid Society of San Diego since 1995.  She practices in all areas of family immigration law including removal defense, family petitions, waivers, citizenship, naturalization, as well as providing immigration assistance to victims of domestic violence, trafficking, and other serious crimes.
