About the class:

Join us  for Nuts and Bolts of Naturalization as noted Immigration Law expert Miko Tokuhama-Olsen reviews the differences between citizenship and naturalization, naturalization eligibility requirements, the application process, and how to avoid some common – and not so common – errors in filing for naturalization.

Each year we give special focus to an area of law intrinsic to the fabric of San Diego county’s culture, history, and modern day life. 2017 is our Year of Border Law.

About the speaker:

Miko Tokuhama-Olsen has been practicing exclusively immigration law at Legal Aid Society of San Diego since 1995.  She practices in all areas of family immigration law including removal defense, family petitions, waivers, citizenship, naturalization, as well as providing immigration assistance to victims of domestic violence, trafficking, and other serious crimes.
