About the artist:
HannaH MurdocH
Born in San Diego, California, HannaH MurdocH works in many art mediums. Her current art forms are fused glass, as in the butterflies for the San Diego Law Library, oil and mixed medium painting, mural artist, printmaking, mosaic tile art, landscape design, and sometimes there is nothing better to work with than a few Crayola color crayons and a black Sharpie. Her mantra is taken from artist Andre Miripolsky, “Fear no Art” and there is not an art form she is not willing to try; only time and money are stopping her. HannaH cannot remember a time when she wasn’t playing in art and making a mess of color, light or form. HannaH never knows what will inspire her or where her art will take her. The series of Butterflies for the San Diego Law Library have been hand-crafted, signed, and numbered. Each butterfly has been crafted using layers and cuts of glass, which adds to the uniqueness of each and every butterfly– not to be confused with mass-produced studio glass. HannaH would like to thank you for being a proud owner of HannaH art glass and for your generous donation to the San Diego Law Library.
